When I visited my friend in Arizona, we saw the sparrows in her backyard trying to help each other. I really enjoyed that picture and thought of my long-term friendship with my team. One day, I had a memory flashback and started creating this scratchboard artwork. When it went to the Art Fest over at the Armory Performing Arts Center (300 Strong St, Brighton, CO 80601), it found its home. It was so lovely that the artwork called for people who enjoy friendship and my artwork. This is a blessing of mine, and this piece of my artwork is great. I’m really grateful and wish the owner of this artwork was filled with long-lasting friendships and joys in life.
The Armory always has great concerts and events with local artists’ artwork displayed and available for sale. Please feel free to check out their events for fun.
The Original artwork of this piece has been sold, but prints are available for sale. Please check out Prints. Feel free to email graceyu.artstudio@gmail.com if you are interested in more info.
I also have studio space on the 2nd floor at Main Street Creative Gallery (36 S Main St, Brighton, CO 80601). You can visit us during business hours, Tuesday through Saturday, 11 am to 3 pm.
