
Chinese “Han” ethnic fashion has long history, and they also influenced Japanese kimono, Koran hanbok & jeogori with the mixed cultural history. During Qin dynasty, Manchu ethnic ruled China as the royal family and used strange law for Manchu fashion to replace Han fashion. Only monks didn’t have affected by this law and you can still see some of the monks outfit now a day have the Han ethnic Chinese fashion with big sleeves and right over left “y” shape collar. Today Chinese fashion culture has great amounts influence by Manchu ethnic even the main ethnic race population is Han ethnic.
Han fashion usually has three layers: small shirt (inner layer shirt such as female apron or chest cover), middle layer shirt (upper shirt and pant), and big shirt (outside cover layer such as A shape or multiple layers female skirt and big sleeves long robe).
Han ethnic Chinese traditionally does not shave our hair. When we become the adults in the traditional history, we put up our hair as hair bun with a hair Chopstick. Male head ware are crowns, hair towers, or caps. Female has ware different types of hair Chopsticks, crown comb, flowers, or some other cultural beads hair associates. Children mainly ware embroidery tiger caps or flower caps.
As tradition, embroidery are main pieces of our culture fashion. And embroidery headbands, embroidery caps, embroidery shirts, embroidery belts, as well as embroidery shoes.
