Today, my friend ask me “What is LOVE ?”
I answer “I think LOVE 爱 is to support without expecting anything in return.”
However, everyone believes differently. In different prospects/angles, different people’s Love also reacts differently. Some will be overacting while they are “in Love” with a relationship, some don’t believe in love, some would be able to use love to shape a better future with their partner. These are one on one personal love in my opinion. Love with an open heart to all beings, which is one to all beings, the way of how you treat people, animals, even the environment around us is the universal style of love, some will call it God’s love. As a self-practice Buddhism, I believe that all beings have budda within ourselves. I believe that we will be able to learn, gain wisdom, and awaken when we are able to calm ourselves, open up, and connect to the universe. Love has no limit, no set shape; and we human beings do have limits of our reach area that will limit our support to others. Please appreciate when you receive support from others, believe that’s love, not their responsibility. We are only responsible for ourselves, even some of our decisions might affect your life, but you are responsible for your own. Life will get easier when you accept and taking your own responsibility. We can ask and seek help from others, and we should be able to handle it when we receive NO because we are not their responsibility; and we need to keep the thankful heart with their help, don’t ever stop become thankful just because they keep helping us such as our parents and some amazing people that shown up in our life. Love is powerful, but please don’t use it as a tool. People who use love as a tool are the fool because you can only use and hurt the one who loves you. Our life will become more and more difficult if we don’t treasure and appreciate Love.
