We have three little goldfish in our household, and my father told me they are my sisters since I grew up as the only child in the family. We name them “little fat fat,” “number 2 fat fat,” and “little skinny.” Little Fat Fat is a really unique one because she has a fat body with a shot fin, which always shows her playful personality. I saw her jump out of the water once and splash the water a few times. She also “played dead” to freak out my father and me a few times when she was folding on the water upside down, but when we tried to catch her with a fishnet, she jumped and swam like we were chasing her for life. I really enjoyed her playful company and started creating this “goldfish splash” scratchboard art based on Little Fat Fat. Just extend her fin a bit to make her more ladylike. While creating this piece of scratchboard, I had a lot of fun scratching the water splashing out. It made me dream of Little Fat Fat and me being the same size, and she was splashing water on me. I wish the owner of this piece of my artwork was filled with joy and love and always had a playful company in their life, even in their dream.
