One Good Act a Day 日行一善

Above artwork image name “One Good Act a Day 日行一善”

Goodness, 善 not only brings beauty to the world but also helps us to save up fortune in our life. That’s why sometimes you saw some people are so “lucky” in their life. Karma is doing their job when we don’t expect.

Someone asks, why I suggest only “One 一” good act a day? Because it’s easy for everyone to do just one good act, and also I mean at least but not limited to one good act a day. For example, building a brick wall will be much more stable than drywall. However, you’ll be super exhausted to finish building a brick wall or great wall in a limited time frame without resting, then you will want to give up. If you just put one brick at a time, not only it will be really easy, but also slowly it will build up your fortune for you to become those “lucky” people in life.

日 not only mean date but also mean the sun. So when the sun’s up, please don’t forget it’s another day for you to have good ACT 行.

Please remember, one good act a day, you are changing our world with kindness.

There’re also bones for our life from giving acts of kindness. It creates emotional warmth, which releases a hormone known as oxytocin that will reduce blood pressure. This is great for our health.

Here’s are some suggestion options.

Hold the door open for someone. Buy a coffee for your bank teller/banker. Leave happy notes for someone. Post a joke on your social media. Call your parents/grandparents and tell them “I love you”. Compliment a random people. Write a thank-you note for your delivery servicer.  Bring a gift to your neighbor. Tell someone why they are special to you. Donate clothes and things that you don’t use often. Give a smile to strangers. Hand out food, bottled water, and clothing to the homeless. Bring flowers to your mother. Tell someone how much you love them. Say thank you with a smile to service members. Donate pajamas, books, and toys to foster kids. Buy extra school supplies for a teacher. Give someone a hug (ask permission before you hug them due to some people’s comfort level). Collect money and items for your favorite charity (eg, A Precious Child — Broomfield, CO is my favorite charity). Donate coloring books with crayons to the children’s hospital. Collect books for the library. Make a homemade gift for someone. Give high fives to a friend. Teach someone how to avoid scammers. Teach someone finances knowledge such as 60% of income as stable monthly expense includes rent, utilities, bills; 10% of income for shopping; 10% of income save up as travel fund (personally suggest to travel at least once a year to reward ourselves in life); 20% of income for Deposit and IRA/Investing (Investing need to study enough knowledge to avoid big loss).
